Project Highlights:

• 54,000 GPD best available technology wastewater treatment plant providing sanitary sewage treatment for the communities in and around Bay Point
• Project components included site development, vacuum collections system, vacuum pump station, static bar screen, secondary treatment process, chemical feed systems, effluent filtration, effluent disinfection, effluent disposal via injection wells, aerobic digestion, standby generator, electrical and instrumentation.
• Fossilized coquina and a high water table, common construction challenges in The Keys, were issues that had to be addressed.
