Fidelity National Financial
Jacksonville, FL
Haskell provided planning and design-build services for the delivery of this free-standing, five-level parking structure for Fidelity National Financial. Located across the street from Fidelity National Financial's headquarters in downtown Jacksonville, the parking structure provides a total of 1,752-spaces for staff parking needs. The parking structure's design incorporates a side by side helix with two-way traffic flow throughout. The structure was designed to meet the specific flow capacity needs of office workers.
One of the most unique characteristics of the parking structure is the structural framing system. The parking facility consists of both site cast, tilt-up exterior walls and stair towers and precast concrete for the flooring and support system. This approach helped accelerate the construction process, thus ensuring a timely delivery of the parking structure for the owner.
The five-level parking structure contains almost 600,000 s.f. The architecture consists of a textured paint and features that help the parking structure blend into the surrounding area and soften the overall mass of the facility. The punch openings in the exterior walls were easily accommodated with the site cast, tilt-up concrete approach. Passive security features include abundant, uniform lighting, architectural fencing at the ground floor and open stairs.
