The Haskell Company was selected to perform design-build services for Enkei Corp., the world's leading producer of aluminum wheels for the automotive industry. The new Enkei Florida plant, which is Enkei's third manufacturing facility in the U.S. and ninth worldwide, is scheduled in five phases on a 22-acre site.

The first phase is a 30,000 s.f. warehouse and the second phase is a 35,000 s.f. manufacturing plant. The manufacturing facility features a casting line and two machining lines; a quality control lab; and a mold maintenance shop. An explosion-proof paint storage room was also added to accompany a future painting line.

Haskell provided architectural, engineering and construction services, in addition to self-performing utility work, concrete, steel fabrication, carpentry, roofing, equipment setting and startup. The buildings were constructed using site-cast, tilt-up, concrete panels and conventional structural steel. Haskell's services also featured assembling, installing and connecting all melting, casting and machining equipment for the manufacturing plant.
