Baptist Medical Center - South was created to bring high quality healthcare to the rapidly growing communities of southern Duval and northern St. Johns counties.  Haskell was chosen to provide development, design, and construction services for a master planned 32-acre site.

In association with Gresham Smith & Partners, the design team provided a solution that meets current medical needs but also provides for expansion and flexibility in the future.

Through the use of open spaces, natural light and warm colors, a healing environment was created that focuses on patients and their families.  The result is a full-service hospital that will provide shorter patient stays, a more satisfied staff, and a healthier community.
