Littoral Warfare Research Facility

This design build project was completed on time despite being hit by Hurricanes Dennis and Ivan and impacted by five other named storms.

Project Highlights:

• 39,755 s.f. 3-story tilt-up/brick veneer waterfront research facility
• 3,290 s.f. high bay with bridge crane, chiller and boiler, interior and exterior water test tanks/pools, security systems and multiple office laboratories
• Dock, boat hoist, boat ramp and fuel farm
• Relocation of oily water waste facility and demolition of 12 existing buildings
• Blast resistance provided by concrete tilt-up panel construction
• Five-year maintenance program provided
