Suburban Office Campus
Bank of America
Jacksonville, Florida
The Bank of America suburban campus consolidated non-banking affiliates from previously leased office space spread throughout the city. Encompassing nine buildings of over 1.5 million s.f. it includes a conference center with a 5,000 s.f. television studio and experimental banking facility, cafeteria, health spa, day care center, and parking deck.
Haskell provided pre-construction and construction management services for the campus, which included off-site utility and road improvements. Special security systems and high technology communications were handled from a separate center and provision for future expansion of the systems built in.
Building construction featured a cast-in-place concrete structure with precast panels with marble inlay, and insulated, reflective glass. The first building was delivered 13 months into construction with additional buildings handed over every four to six weeks thereafter.
