Project Highlights:

• Design-build 389,000 s.f., three-building laboratory complex connected by a common Main Street Atrium
• Three-story computational science building (CSB), houses a super-computer (the fastest in the world at time of project delivery)
• 230 miles of Cat-6 data cable and 2500 data outlets; temperature maintained to within 1/10th of a degree in seven labs
• Engineering technology facility (ETF) with laboratories for a variety of research and office space
• Three-story research office building, offering administrative areas for visiting researchers and providing director-level offices for permanent staff
• Structural steel frame, site cast tilt-up walls with in-laid brick and build-up roof, constructed on a 12.5-acre congested site
• Raised access flooring, underfloor air distribution, high-bay labs, access card security system, HVAC chiller with rooftop units and dual utility feeders, double ended substation, 500 KVA UPS, and 750 KVA generator
