When The Shopping Network looked to establish a new headquarters building it turned to Haskell for a design-build solution for a structure that was not only aesthetically pleasing but met the particular requirements of their operations.

The almost completely computer driven operations of the network dictated unique electrical systems with emergency generator backup and uninterruptible power supply units to ensure continued operation regardless of external influences.

The exterior of the building features a glass skin of various tints of blue to create a façade that appears to have relief while in fact being smooth. Curvilinear in outline it provides 120,000 s.f. of space in a 6-story completely functional office environment.

A heliport was a late addition to the master plan for the building and despite the additional permits required and necessary design changes the project was completed on schedule.
