Forty Years In Design-Build

 
Haskell was founded in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1965, committed to the concept of fully integrated design-build delivery of projects.  In the late sixties, the company established in-house architecture and engineering services.  As a full service provider, Haskell expanded from multi-family projects to industrial and office construction, and added development services, including site acquisition and financing.

As the company continued to grow in the seventies, many of America's largest corporations began to use design-build delivery for facilities and engaged Haskell as a single source.

Haskell's reputation as a leader in design-build continued through the eighties as public authorities embraced this project delivery method.  Construction Management services were added and Haskell Community Developers was established to service the continuing care retirement community market.

During the nineties, Haskell refined its structure to focus on specific market segments.  Offices were opened in Dallas, Texas, and in Mexico City.  In 1993 Haskell was instrumental in the formation of the Design-Build Institute of America.

From a solid foundation and reputation built over forty years, Haskell continues to provide leadership in design-build through promotion of its benefits and education of its practitioners.
